Looking for good philips opu vam1250

I've tried a few sources,but it seems like the working optical pickups for the philips vam1250 cdpro2 are rare.
I got 1 out of 3 that worked.It's hard for me to understand why they can make a good pickup for the cdm12 but not for the cdpro2,and why folks are selling bad stock.Apparently these are made in China and the quality control is non existant,so they are making crap.
These are all over ebay and even amazon,but they just don't work.
I've tested my boards with a known working PU and double checked my turntables that need to be set at 2mm.
I know enco sells these,but they are 85.00 and that makes it almost not worth the trouble.{almost}
If anybody has good stock I would be interested in getting at least 2-3 of these laser pick up units.
Thank ya

I quit rebuilding both the PRO and PRO-2 because of "bad parts", a number of years ago--fix'em and they ran 30-60 days in commercial use before crapping out. Phillips NEVER (IMHO), made a quality product here--I had one NEW Rowe jukebox that I had to change the CDM-12 and later PRO player. 19 times, "under warranty"--Rowe did "back me" very well on this ! ( was a "test market" for a very large food supplier chain--they decided not to go with the concept, due to jukebox problems :( ) Ron Rich
