It's Called "Politeness"

by Joe_DS » Fri Oct 12, 2012 7:38 pm

This SHOULDN'T have to be said, but too many responses to posts on this board have been greeted with a "wall of silence," and it's high time this stopped.

When you post a question, and someone takes the time and trouble to reply to it with a response, please take the time and trouble to post back with an acknowledgement of that response. Not only is this the polite thing to do, but it lets the person who replied to your post know whether the information provided is or isn't useful or helpful.

What annoys me most, is a "first poster" usually with a heap of junk who just asks, "what's it worth?"

You'd think this was the Antiques Roadshow.

----and another thing--PLEASE post your location (country, at the minimum) in your profile section, as this forum is world wide, and it is often easier to find local help, that way--

You took the words right outa my mouth, and the candy bar too.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.
