My 78-rpm 1952 Rock-Ola Fireball juke, & various 78s

by blacknwhite » Fri Dec 03, 2010 7:49 am

Hi, New to the forum here, figured I'd introduce myself... I'm a collector of 78 rpm records and record players 1920s-1950s. Here're some pics, including a mammoth floor-shaking 78-rpm 1952 Rock-Ola Fireball juke (visually an "underdog", but it ROCKS), and some various of my favorite 78s: Nice forum, BTW:

Nice jukebox! Along with some great records. I just got a
Rockola 1426 that I'll be restoring, can't wait to start
Collecting some of those 78's!

Welcome to forum. Raven

That is a rare beast, most of the carousel 78 players got converted to 45 mech's, as in 1952, 78's were quickly being outsold by 45's..

I would love to see a video of this machine working!!

Great juke and great records!! Congrats..

P.s If you ever want to sell it, keep me in mind!!

Cheers'

Rusty
