From a current listing for a Seeburg SMC2.

"Fair condition but has faults. Can be repaired if you know what your doing."

Wasn't it ever the case?

Doghouse--
Yep--more "prodding"--
EASY fix--Purchase one of my "new fangled" MCU's for that SMC, and you will have the "finest" phonograph ever produced --and that, my friend, is NO, "eBay", hype !!

I know this thread is for eBay hopefuls, but this Craig's List ad cracked me up: http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/ele/4384697866.html

Perhaps the price is a typo? There are so many other mistakes. Like, who the hell is David A? I think David Cullen Rockola would be turning in his grave.

I do hope this seller achieves their asking price, because it will mean I can start selling my jukes for some serious money.

Keith

The world is laden with clueless hopefuls, a.k.a Gold Diggers.

.....and I'm sure that fabulous "Rick - Ola was only driven on Sundays at church services.

From a listing for a Seeburg Selectomatic.

"There are some great features like a coin slot. The jukebox is on wheels."

I love it!

This is the result of the Dumbing Down Of America, and the morons we've got to live around.
I realize there have always been ignorant and stupid people on this planet, but jeez, gimme a break.
It's like me selling a car, and stating that it's got four lovely tires on it.

Hey Matt,
I like shopping carts with at least two very small "flat spots" on the wheels--that way they make enough noise to warn people that I'm a commin', and to get the "H" outta the way !! ( not much I hate worse, then "shopping" !)

Wow, and the one single time I was in SF, I stayed across the street at a friend's.
6 days there, lovely city to visit, even rode the cable cars and saw Alcatraz and Sosolito.
Hit the Safeway for wine after I unpacked and got settled.
In their wine/beer isle I was asked if I wanted to share my bottle with a stranger.
This, after a hellish 6+ hour flight from Philly!
