My name is Kerry and I've been tinkering with a very used Seeburg LS325. When I started it would load a record and immediately reject it. After getting a factory manual and spending some time with the circuitry it was obvious it was a mechanical issue. While doing the clutch adjustments I found the clutch rocker stuck on the horizontal pin. Once I got it loose it loaded and played!!!
Plenty of other glitches. The previous owner had defeated all the other reject stuff so I re soldered them.
There were some numbers that wouldn't load at all and sometimes it seemed to load fairly randomly. I cleaned the tormat contacts but it didn't really seem to make any difference. Entering any number with a 0 would cause a re-set and re-select. I thought the next thing to do would be to disassemble and clean the keypad. It was quite clean already. Once I got it back together every number entered does a re-set and re-select. :-/ I do realize the numbers need to start with a 1 or a 2. I also noticed that it never displays the 1 or 2 at the far left of the display now although it did before. Point me in a direction, I'm at a loss as to what my next step should be.
Thanks,
Kerry
