Just had the opportunity to have a jukebox for a few dollars as it does not work. Since I do not have enough money to buy a descent one, it was a no brainer for me and I said yes..
I have no idea where it came from or what or if something was tried to get it to work
It is a Wurlitzer 3310 100 selections model
I have no experience with Jukebox so any help is welcomed
Issues found until now:
- I need to manually help the drive assembly start turning as the belts seem a bit loose
- The fingers do not clamp the record, it is released immediatly, I do not see the fingers come up to grab the record. They are there but no significant movement when the assembly comes up to the hole of the 45.
- The tone arm does not seem like it would be on the record IF the clamping worked. It is to far from where it should be
and also it is away from the brush when in the rest position. The U shaped guide seems to be misplaced as it does not leave enough room for the tonearm to reach the records
What does work?
All the selections I made were right on spot
The records go up and come down when I fake the tonearm is finished with the record.
*What I did until now
- As recommended by a member here, I put some oïl in the Oil hole situated Under the record rack that needs to be aligned fo me to see it
there is some sort of cloth in the hole so it is absorbed slowly.
I will do my best to use the correct terms if you ask me questions and will go take some screenshot to help
There are no Jukebox technician around here so I need all the help I can get from you guys as I really want to get this gem to work again, like in her old days
Many thanks in advance!
Julie
